STARTING GATE

For those desiring to learn more about us, your journey begins with a Starting Gate.

Starting Gate is an informal, small group gathering - usually a dessert reception - designed to help our guests better understand theGATE's core purposes and priorities. We meet together on two consecutive Sunday nights to talk about:

  • Our Name
  • Our Story
  • Our Vision
  • Our Mission
  • theGATE's Leadership and Accountability Structures
  • Pathways to Connect and Serve at theGATE

    • In short, Starting Gate zeros in on the essence of “What theGATE is About”:

  • OUR VISION (Our Core Priority) is to encounter God’s presence by his spirit and in his eord, which enables us to be like Jesus, and experience the power of his kingdom.
  • OUR MISSION (Our Main Purpose) is to awaken in others a passion for God, help them become Jesus-Followers, and create spiritual communities – small groups, house churches, mission teams – who express the Good News of Jesus both locally and globally.

    If you are interested in making theGATE your home church or would like to learn more about theGATE your starting place is Starting Gate.

    Starting Gate is a two week gathering with Steve Fry and a few other leaders at theGATE that explores key components of our vision, mission and values.

    The next Starting Gate will meet Sunday, May 19 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. downstairs in the Chapel at theGATE and Sunday, April 28 during the 11:00 a.m. Worship Gathering downstairs in the Youth Room at theGATE.
